Executive Assistant/Office Manager


Pike Street is searching for an experienced, energetic Executive Assistant/Office Manager to join its team. This individual will provide executive assistance to the Partners, while ensuring that the office functions smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing outstanding support to executive management, ideally within the private equity/venture capital industry. They must also be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative and tight-knit team in our Seattle office, located in the vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood. The position follows a flexible hybrid work model, allowing for some remote work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as an extension of the Partners, handling all administrative tasks related to internal and external meetings, operations, travel, and communications.
  • Effectively manage complex calendars.
  • Work closely with and support the CFO as needed.
  • Process monthly expense reports, general bookkeeping and process employee payroll.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding new team members, stay on top of the hiring process at all touchpoints.
  • Coordinate logistical planning of the firm's quarterly and annual meetings, including venue sourcing, accommodations, and catering.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Serve as the liaison with outside vendors and building management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office and kitchen environment.
  • Maintain office inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Actively collaborate with IT to ensure equipment and software is running securely and at optimum efficiency.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.
Successful candidates will possess the following requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior-level executives within a dynamic environment.
  • Prior private equity/venture capital support experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage complex calendars alongside competing priorities.
  • Experience with Payroll and HR for employees
  • Prior QuickBooks experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tech savvy; strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Displays a positive “no task is too big or too small” team player attitude.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

Pre-MBA Private Equity Associate

Pike Street is looking to hire a Pre-MBA Associate to join its team in Seattle, WA. The Associate will participate in all transaction functions as well as sourcing and portfolio management activities, function as an integral part of a close-knit group of investment professionals, take the lead in financial modeling and industry research, play a key role in the underlying analysis of investment decisions, and assist senior professional in structuring and negotiating prospective investments in target companies.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis of investment opportunities including financial modeling, valuation and return analysis.
  • Market and industry research.
  • Due diligence on companies, management, customers, competitors and industries.
  • Preparation of materials for Pike Street Capital’s investment committee.
  • Assisting in sourcing new investment opportunities.
  • Assisting portfolio company operations, as appropriate.
Successful candidates will possess the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated educational excellence at a university or college.
  • 1-3 years’ experience as an analyst/associate with a top-tier investment bank
  • Outstanding financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and corporate finance
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in working with a small group of investment professionals


Tenure

The start date is flexible. Pre-MBA Associate will be expected to commit for a minimum of two years. Strong performers will be considered for advancement within the firm.
