Impel Acquires Pump Dynamics
The partnership expands Impel’s geographic and market reach
Seattle, Wash. – Feb 12, 2025 – Pike Street Capital, LLC (“Pike Street”) investment, Impel Company, (“Impel”) announces the acquisition of Pump Dynamics, an expert provider of flow management products, services and systems to Washington, Oregon, and Arizona for the past 17 years. The addition of Pump Dynamics marks an important expansion into Arizona for Impel, while diversifying the service offerings in the rest of the territory, positioning both Pump Dynamics and Impel for growth.
Established in 2008 in Washougal, Washington, Pump Dynamics was founded by 30-year pump expert, William Cocks. Experiencing quick success and demand, Pump Dynamics has grown to have offices in Oregon and Arizona. Today, Pump Dynamics is led by Korey Watts, President and GM, along with a team of engineers, sales and product experts, and technicians.

Pump Dynamics brings a unique service offering to Impel, with capabilities in vibration, infrared, and failure analysis. Serving its core customer base in the semiconductor industry, they are equipped to handle motor and rotating equipment service and repair, provide filtration systems, and engineered packaged systems.
