Bennett West Announces Investment in California Water Services

SEATTLE, Wash. – Bennett West (“Bennett”), a Pike Street Capital portfolio company, announced a strategic investment in California Water Services (“CWS”), a provider of water treatment solutions for growers and municipalities in Coalinga, California. The transaction brings together two established Central Valley providers, expanding the breadth of services available to customers.

CWS brings decades of experience in water treatment, helping growers and municipalities maintain clean, efficient water systems. Along with their Green Leaf Ag division, they provide a comprehensive offering of water treatment solutions to improve water quality and ensure consistent flow, protecting infrastructure and promoting healthier soil and crops. Customers can now benefit from the combined capabilities of the organizations - pairing CWS’s expertise in water treatment with Bennett’s broader platform of irrigation, plant health, and energy solutions.

“We’re looking forward to working with the team at CWS and Green Leaf to better support our customers,” said Tyler Bennett, CEO of Bennett. “They have a strong reputation in the Central Valley and play a critical role delivering water treatment solutions to rural communities and farmers. Their capabilities expand our presence in the water treatment space and allow us to provide more integrated solutions.”

This partnership aligns with Pike Street’s approach of pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions that broaden capabilities, enhance customer offerings, and reinforce competitive positioning. Pike Street will also continue investing in people and technology to accelerate organic growth initiatives.

“Our sector-focused approach allows us to be intentional about the businesses we partner with and the value we can bring through accretive M&A and hands-on operational support,” said Dave Dandel, Partner at Pike Street Capital. “CWS is a great example of adding a complementary business that expands what the platform can offer and supports long-term growth.”
