Pike Street Capital Announces the Successful Sale of Head Rush Technologies

SEATTLE, Wash. – January 17, 2024  - Pike Street Capital, LP (“Pike Street”) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the sale of Head Rush Technologies (“Head Rush”), a leader in the engineering, manufacturing, and distribution of climbing and adventure equipment, to TZP Group.

Head Rush is recognized as the leading maker of auto belays, with its TRUBLUE™ auto belay a staple in indoor climbing gyms and adventure parks worldwide. In 2019, Pike Street Capital partnered with founder and climbing industry veteran, John McGowan, to facilitate the organization’s next phase of growth. During the investment period, the business added new service revenue streams, expanded its product line, and opened direct channels in Europe. These initiatives, along with a growing market for adventure sports, has resulted in strong growth for Head Rush.
